Copiague is a Long Island Rail Road station on the Babylon Branch located in Copiague, New York. The station is located on Marconi Boulevard and Great Neck Road (Suffolk County Road 47), just north of Oak Street (Suffolk County Road 12), and is one of numerous stations along the Babylon Branch that was rebuilt as part of an elevation project during the 1950s and 1960s. Copiague Station was originally built in 1902, and rebuilt with temporary hi-level platforms for the M1's and an elevated station in 1967 that opened on August 7, 1973. It is one of the few railroad stations along the Montauk-Babylon Branch west of Patchogue that was not originally built by the South Side Railroad of Long Island.

This station has one 10-car-long high-level island platform serving trains in both directions. The rail line has two tracks at this location.
[edit] Belmont Junction[]
The South Side Railroad of Long Island once had another station in Copiague to the East called Belmont Junction, which was in service between 1873 and 1885.[1] It is not known if the LIRR built Copiague Station as a replacement for Belmont Junction, but it has served as one.
